Carson believes that being a great lawyer is all about focusing on the clients’ goals and providing them with exceptional legal service. Carson understands the crucial need to work alongside his clients and to keep them in the loop during every step of their case. This includes promptly returning phone calls and email. He provides clients with the legal knowledge in a way they can understand, and suggestions on how to proceed. He makes it a priority to ensure that his clients are heard and supported. 

Carson graduated from law school at the University of Miami. He received his bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the prestigious University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management, and originally hails from Oregon. In his younger years Carson was a competitive swimmer, rising through the ranks to achieve an Olympic qualifying time. He broke a host of state swimming records. Carson holds a black belt in Taekwondo and brings his competitive edge to his law practice. He believes that hard work and persistence, coupled with sincerely listening to his clients, produces the best results. 

As a lifelong car enthusiast, Carson evaluated and drove prototype vehicles from various manufacturers with ROUSH™ industries. He previously worked as a delivery specialist, and enjoys rallies with like-minded auto-enthusiasts. 

 Ted was admitted to practice law in Oregon in 1985. He has tried hundreds of cases since that time. Ted was born in Pennsylvania and grew up in Maryland. He served four years in the Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. Ted then studied in Tokyo, Japan, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies and Sociology at Sophia University. Ted went on to earn a master’s degree in International Relations from the same university. 

Before Ted got into law, he worked for several years as an insurance underwriter and claims adjuster. This background has helped him in his personal injury practice. In 1982, Ted worked as a state court clerk while attending law school at Lewis and Clark Law School. Thereafter, Ted worked at a successful law firm where he has been a senior partner for over 30 years. 

Ted’s next adventure in life was his move to Florida. He is licensed to practice here. He still maintains a “footprint” in Oregon and travels there for work as the need arises. Ted and his son, Carson, maintain their practice in downtown Coral Gables, and he walks to work daily. He focuses primarily on family law and civil litigation. 

Ted is married and is the proud father of four sons. He and his wife, Amy, are avid travelers and enjoy taking long early morning walks with the family dog, George. He truly enjoys his work and thrives on engaging with his clients.
